Three Kings - Croptober

  Mabon, the fall equinox, marks the balance between day and night and the final harvest. From here the days grow shorter, the nights colder and longer, and the fruits (or rather buds) are ready for their final harvest.  Admittedly, this blog post is somewhat tardy, we already harvested the first of our succulent ladies to avoid mildew.  The outdoor buds are ripe for picking once 80% of pistils and stigmas have changed from white to brown.  This year we grew two strains, one named 'cheese, easily identified by its pungent scent and leaves adorned by little brown spots.  Perfect timing for the harvest is essential: Too early and the tricombes would not have times to develop properly and the ladies would lose the valuable THC and CBD content, but too late risks the buds rotting or moulding. Bacon for Breakfast

  Bacon - the simple summoning of its crisp name causes mouthes to water in anticipation of this absloute masterpiece of salty delight. This beloved culaniry staple is so versatile can be found on the family breakfast table to delightful dinner dishes in gourmet resteraunts. The history of bacon can be traced back thousands of years, to the ancient Romans or midieviltimes, when curing meat with salt was essential to properly preserve it. Lucky for us, humanity has truly perfected its technique to give us the ultimate crispy delight. It was necessary to dedicate the first 'bacon' blog post to the classic breakfast staple; Bacon & Eggs. Crispy fried bacon, accompanied by eggs over-easy. Perhaps accompanied with toast, tomato, or beans. The breakfast of champions and truly one of our most favourite bacon meals. The smell of fried bacon in the morning is a nostalgic childhood memory. Bacon n' Weeds

  We are wild and whimsical women, wandering through the weeds, wistfully wondering whether there are others who would welcome our wit as we wizen into witches.  Despite our obvious tendency towards alliteration, it is our sincerest wish to entertain, educate, and elaborate on the two true passions of our lives; bacon and weeds.  While we do partake *cough, cough*, our priority will always be the creation of a safe and open space, for women to speak honestly about their struggles and solutions.
